Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over, while expecting different results… Apparently said by Albert Einstein.
As shocking as it seems, most business processes and practices applied to business management today are a rehash of old ideas from as far back as the 50’s.

Not as many really new ideas emerge as we might wish.  Pretty much the same old thing in a fancy new wrapper, sold to you by highly cost consultants.

Most of these concepts are Smokestack Thinking disguised as innovation or new ideas.
The consultants and writers bringing these things to you, mean well. We hope they are not intentionally deceiving.

There are all kinds of reason why this happens and all kinds of books are written about this.

Could a better approach be to break away from the old habits or re-wrapped old ideas?

Could you benefit by moving away from layering on more and more complexity in order to face a more and more complex world?
